PSSP Cross Country Fun Run

What a day! Our second School Games Cross Country fun run had the theme of the Qatar Fifa world cup, being held in November. 7 schools took part with over 80 children taking on the challenge.

On arrival, children were given a booklet with questions and pictures all about the world cup. They had to complete the cross country course in small groups, whilst finding the answers to the questions in their booklet. They all got a balloon to take around with them, making it a very colourful event.  Along the course, there were bubbles and school games value stickers to collect! When each runner crossed the finish line, they got to check their answers and go back to find any they may have missed. Once they had finished, they took a photo in our SG fun run photo booth.

Each pupil who took part got a t-shirt to take home and the school received a fifa world cup football to take back to school and use how they wish. Some schools mentioned that the children who took part can start a football club at lunchtime!

Lots of smiles and laughing from many who took part, a lovely end to the first term.
