High 5 Netball Workshop

On Wednesday 22nd September Stoke Damerel hosted a Primary Netball Workshop. The session was led by Claire Harling who taught year 5/6 children the basic netball princicples and match play. The aim of the workshop was to develop the childrens skills and give teachers ideas for practices which they could then take back to school and begin a netball club. Despite a low number of schools participating the children had a great afternoon and there was already a real improvement in their skill levels after just 2 hours.

The next workshop will be held at Torbridge High on 6th October after school with practice matches being run @ Heles on 1st December in preparation for the January Plymouth Netball tournament. This is a great opportunity for both children and teachers so please book!
