KS1 Indoor Athletics 2024

Six teams came along to the Life Centre to take part in the indoor athletics competition. They took part in different relay races, chest push, javelin, balance beam and long jump! 

All the pupils shown resilience, great stamina and fantastic team work throughout the whole event. Here were the records for the field events!

Balance Beam:

Girls- 39.75 seconds (Holy Cross)

Boys- 31.09 Seconds (Pennycross)

Long Jump:

Girls- 1.40m (Holy Cross)

Boys- 1.50m (Compton & Holy Cross)

Chest Push:

Girls- 4.25m (St Paul’s)

Boys- 5m (Holy Cross)

Javelin:

Girls- 7m (Holy Cross)

Boys- 10m (St Peter’s & Holy Cross)
