Primary Basketball Competition

Year 5 and 6 pupils from Elburton, Pomphlett and Goosewell Primary Schools attended the round robin tournament at Coombe Dean school this morning.  Each school had an A and B team which allowed for more games play with each team playing 5 games. Coombe Dean students from year 7 and 8 were brilliant role models as they officiated the games, led great warm ups and finished the morning with an exciting hot seat competition.

A total of 51 baskets were scored throughout the morning and the results were as follows:

1st place: Pomphlett A

2nd Place: Pomphlett B

3rd place Elburton B

4th place: Elburton A

5th place: Goosewell B

6th place Goosewell A

Congratulations to Pomphlett A who will now go through to the final on Tuesday March 12th, 3.30pm at Coombe Dean School.
