Sir John Hunt Indoor Athletics Heat

The second event of the Indoor Athletics heats was at Sir John Hunt. Two teams attended which made it close competition, they were Beechwood and Whitleigh. The first track event for the girls is the 1+1 lap relay whilst the boys took to the field events to do the standing long jump and triple jump. Next was the 6 lap parluf race. Girls and boys then switched. Other events included the 2+2 lap relay and the 4x1 relay. In the field there was the chest push and speed bounce events. Once these had concluded we did the obstacle relays. 

There were some very impressive scores by the children and some really close races which made great entertainment for spectators. A huge well done to all that took part and congratulations to Whitleigh who qualified for the Plymouth Indoor Athletics finals in January.
