KS1 Cross-Country

This year we introduced, for the first time, our KS1 cross-country event and what a brilliant event it was! There were lots of excited faces as children turned up ready to take part in their races. For some children this was the first time they had ever represented their school before. The first race to take place was the year 1 girls race, followed by the boys. Then it was the year 2 girls and boy’s races. The year 2’s had to do an extra lap for their race. There was some really impressive long distance running from the children with some keeping up with the hare at the front all the way around the course!

A huge well done to everyone that took part and a massive thank you to Lipson Co-operative academy for providing some fantastic leaders. Please see pictures and the final results below
