PSSP School Games Feedback

"The children love representing the school and are always excited to be chosen and wear the team kit. We know how much they enjoy the sports events and opportunities to compete through the pupil surveys after. Nearly all of the children when asked ‘Was there anything you didn’t enjoy’ said no or commented that the only thing was waiting for their turn. This to me has really proven how much of a positive experience these events are and how by choosing the right children for each event we are embedding positive experiences of competition amongst our school community. 100% of the children that have attended Level 2 events this year have said that the experience was positive and that they would love to participate again. We have also had really positive feedback from families on the posts of the events on our Facebook page." -

"We use support from our SGO to provide the leaders with a weekly Personal Challenge to engage children in a Level 0 competition and also increase activity levels. This has been incredibly popular with the children and is now a role that our Y5 children aspire to be involved in."
