Primary Inclusion New Age Kurling 02/05/2023

02/05/2023 – A huge thank you to St. Matthew’s Primary & Nursery Academy for hosting our PSSP Primary New Age Kurling event today. 5 teams came along to take part in this target-based sport that has been adapted from Curling so that it can be played indoors, on a flat surface. Today we had children representing Elburton, Eggbuckland Vale, Marlborough and St. Matthew’s. On arrival, all of the teams were shown the basics and then it was straight into it: we aim to play as many games as possible in the time we have and try to make sure every school has the opportunity to play everyone else. These events are all about meeting new people, trying a new sport and most importantly, having some fun. Thank you to all of the staff for bringing their teams along today, I hope you enjoyed it too. Thank you as well to all of the lovely staff at St. Matthew’s who helped me with equipment/setting up and for always making me feel so welcome.
