Year 7 End of Season Netball Tournament

On Wednesday 29th March 2023 Hele's School kindly hosted the Plymouth School Sports Partnership Year 7 End of Season Netball Tournament.

14 Teams from 10 Plymouth Secondary schools attended.  The schools were split into two pools of 7 and played each other in a round-robin format, each team playing 6 games in total.

The winners of Pool A (DHSG Diamonds) faced the winners of Pool B (Stoke Damerel) in a well contested final with DHSG Diamonds winning the match and the event with Stoke Damerel runners up. 

The runners-up of Pool A (Eggbuckland) played the runners-up of Pool B (Coombe Dean) for the bronze medal with Coombe Dean winning through.

Wel done to all 140 girls who took part and the wonderful staff who organised and umpired them.

A huge thanks to Hele's School for hosting, without their dome this event would not have run due to the torrential rain outside!
