Year 7 Rugby - Cunningham Cup Festival

On Friday 24th March 2023, the Plymouth SSP ran the historical 'Cunningham Cup' U12 Boys rugby festival at King George V playing fields.  Attended by 7 teams, and kindly supported by OPM rugby club who opened up their facilities, ensured the pitches were playable and provided the post protectors etc.

In closely contended games, Stoke Damerel were unbeaten at the event and were crowned winners by Penny Cunningham.  Runners-up were DHSB with Coombe Dean coming third.  Well done to all those who attended, the game was played in a fantastic sporting manner - well done to all the boys and staff involved.
