U9 and U11 Girls School Games Football

Hosted by Sir John Hunt and Plymstock Schools

On Friday 3rd March and Friday 10th March 2023 the Plymouth School Sports Partnership 'School Games' U9 and U11 Football Festivals were run at Plymouth Marjon University.

The festivals were for the most able and very active girls in Years 3-6 with the intent to:

Develop sport/event specific skills and understanding
Develop transferable physical skills and tactical awareness
Develop character and life skills (build resilience, determination, cooperation, mutual respect, tolerance, courage)

The festivals were attended by Bickleigh Down, Compton C of E, Elburton, Glen Park, Manadon Vale, Montpelier, St. Matthew's and Widey Court,

The top two teams from each event will go on to represent Plymouth at the Devon County semi-finals held at Devon FA Headquarters, Newton Abbot. Well done to the following qualifiers:
