Year 5/6 Basketball Tournament at Coombe Dean

Year 5/6 pupils from Goosewell, Pomphlett, Elburton and Montpelier primary schools took part in a round robin basketball tournament at Coombe Dean school today.  Year 9 Students officiated the games, communicating the rules and motivatiing the pupils to work as a team and achieve success. The students identified the following pupils for showing determination to succeed and great team work: Miles from Pomphlett, Zander from Goosewell, Adas from Montpelier, Indie and Elliot from Goosewell. High 5 to you!

Games were scored and the results were as follows:

6th place - Elburton - 7 points

5th place - Goosewell C - 8 points

4th place - Goosewell A - 9 points

3rd place - Goosewell B -  10 points

2nd place - Pomphlett -  11 points

1st place - Montpelier - 15 points
