Primary Inclusion Boccia 10.12.2021

Friday 10th December 2021 – We had 5 teams along this morning for our PSSP Primary Inclusion Boccia at Plympton Academy. Teams from St. Matthew’s, Holy Cross, Widewell, St. Mary’s and Prince Rock all came along to take part in our festive, friendly Boccia event, aimed at children of all ages and abilities. Christmas jumpers were encouraged today and there were some great ones! For some of the children attending today, this was their first experience of Boccia but we were extremely lucky to have a fantastic team of young leaders from Plympton Academy on hand to teach us the ropes and referee our games. Once we have run through the basics, we just play as many games as we can in the time and play as many other schools as possible. With some Christmas songs in the background, everyone was in high spirits today and I for one had a great time! These are always some of my favourite events as it is so great to see so many children learning new skills and enjoying playing sport. Well done to everyone who took part today, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. I am already looking forward to seeing you in the new year for some more PSSP Inclusion events.
