Primary PE Conference - Bookings Open

We will be holding the Primary PE Conference at Sir John Hunt Community College on Wednesday 3rd November 2021.

As we are currently in an Enhanced Response Area, we are planning to run this event with Covid-19 restrictions in place.  The keynote will be recorded and played at the start of the Conference in each workshop rather than everyone gathering in one place.  Breaks and lunch time will also be taken in workshop areas to avoid groups mixing.

Workshops:

• Option 1 – The Role of the Subject Leader – delivered by YST
• Option 2 – Disney Inspired Shooting Stars by England Football
• Option 3 – Teaching Primary Gymnastics
• Option 4 - Physically Active Learning (in Maths & English) – an Evidenced Based Approach
• Option 5 – Teaching Inclusion Sports
• Option 6 – LTA Primary School Teacher Training Course (am) and Cricket CPD for Teachers

Timings of the day:        

9.00am                 Arrival and Teas/Coffees (In workshop areas)

9.30am                 Recorded Keynote Speech (In workshop areas)

10.00am              Workshops start

12.00pm              Lunch (In workshop areas)

1.00pm                 Workshops continue

3.30pm                 Finish

Workshops 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, contains elements of practical delivery so please come dressed in appropriate clothing.

The PSSP will be providing refreshments and lunch. Please let me know if you have any special dietary requirements.

Parking

You will be able to park on the playground area of the Sir John Hunt Campus.  Please arrive via the Picklecombe Drive entrance.
