Primary and Special Schools Boccia 02.04.2019

Tuesday 02nd April 2019 – A great morning of Boccia today hosted by the young leaders from Plympton Academy. Teams from Oreston, Salisbury Road, Plympton St. Maurice, Old Priory and St. Peters RC came along to take part in our friendly competition. Some of the children that attended today had played before but for others it was a new experience. The young leaders were on hand to go over how to play, all of the rules and score the games. As well as being an opportunity to try a new activity and meet children from other schools, this event is a celebration of the School Games values of Self Belief and Respect. It is always fantastic to see so many young people taking part and enjoying playing Boccia. I would like to say a huge thank you to the young leaders for all their hard work today – you were fantastic with the children and really made the event enjoyable for them. Thank you all for coming along to Plympton Academy this morning – I hope you all enjoyed the event as much as I did.
