PSSP Cross Country

Our first cross country event was held at Central Park and saw 11 schools enter in four different races. We started with the year 3/4 girls, year 3/4 boys and then moved onto the year 5/6 girls and finally the 5/6 boys. The pupils ran just under 1km in some very challenging and rainy conditions, however they all did very well! With their teams cheering them on at the start and when they could see them towards the end of their race, the runners were determined to do their best and not stop until they crossed the finish line.

A huge thank you to staff, schools and pupils for coming out in the very heavy rain and kicking off the cross country heats for 2021.

Perry the Birmingham Commonwealth Games mascot came to support teams and teach them about the games happening in 2022. Keep an eye out at the next cross country event to be able to #PosewithPerry with your team!
