In order to be eligible to attend the Teachers’ Trampoline Awards, a candidate must be:

  • Teachers who hold QTS or a formal teaching qualification, or for individuals working towards this.
  • Teaching Assistants are not eligible to attend but can attend a Trampoline Helper course.
  • Course organisers must ensure that candidates provide their DFES number or trainee teacher identity number

Teacher Trampoline Refresher Course

It is recommended by BAGA that the course is taken every three years in order to maintain an effective level of coaching and best practice.

You will already need to hold a British Gymnastics qualification in one of the following, Teachers’ Trampoline Part 1 or Part 2, a Level 2 Trampoline Certificate or British Trampoline Federation qualification.

This course will enable you to refresh the practical skills gained during a British Gymnastics Teacher’s Trampoline qualification. You will revise the importance of creating a safe environment and the code of practice when folding and unfolding the trampoline. You will review the most effective way to support participants in the skills covered during your original qualification.
