Premier League Primary Stars Event

Devon FA have been chosen as one of the hosts to run a Premier League primary stars festival on Wednesday 18th June 2025 at Coach Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 1EJ.  This is being run in partnership with the Premier League, The FA and The English Schools Football Association.

In summary, the event is for children in year 3 and 4 and we are aiming this at a mixture of children who already love football but importantly also those who may not have played much football before but would like to give it a go. The festival will run a little bit like a school’s sports day with lots of football related activities rather than any form of match competition. Children will be welcomed to a relaxed, fun environment with no pressure of competition and no winners……. It’s all about fun and participation.

We have limited spaces, and so initially we are asking schools to express their interest in attending either the boy’s or girl’s session (AM) or the boys or girls session (PM). Schools are welcome to register interest in bringing a boy’s and a girl’s group. We need schools to complete this by Friday 6th June.

We anticipate getting more interest than the maximum number of schools we have spaces for, which is 16 schools for the AM, and another 16 for the afternoon. Ideally, we would like 8 schools for each of the boys and girls session in both the morning and afternoon. If we do end up with more interest than numbers allow, we will perform a random draw to select which schools to get an invite, it’s the fairest way to do it!

Note that we would be inviting schools to bring a maximum of 10 children per slot (boys or girls).

There will be more information communicated to each school nearer the time, and we are asking schools to express their interest by completing the form below.
