PSSP Year 8 End of Season Netball Tournament

This week we saw 10 teams from 8 schools come together for the Year 8 Netball Festival.  The teams played matches in two separate pools with the winners and runners-up from each pool playing off in two semi-finals and then a final and a 3rd/4th play off.  After some fierce competition and some very close results, the final four teams made to the final games.  Eggbuckland played PHSG for the bronze medals and despite PHSG winning in the pool game they were affected by injury and Eggbuckland put in an excellent performance to come 3rd overall.  The final was between Plympton Academy playing Devonport Lightning with Lightning winning the event with Plympton Academy taking the silver medals.

Next week we host the final event, the Year 7 Festival on Wednesday 26th March at the Life Centre from 2.30-5.30pm.

Plymouth Basketball Club Summer League

Plymouth Basketball Club is pleased to be running its very popular summer league again this year starting after the Easter Holidays with the venues at Sir John Hunt and Lipson schools.

The leagues are for all abilities, whether players are currently in teams or looking to get started at basketball for the first time they will have great time.

We have kept the cost the same as it has been for many years to hopefully encourage as many children to play as possible, at £50 for 12 weeks inc a T-shirt.

You can book via the attached flyer and QR code or on our website or via this link.
