Bee Netball is the perfect way to introduce children to netball in a fun, nurturing and child-centred environment. Not only do they learn the basic skills needed for netball, they also learn beyond the court through our Beeliefs.

What is the Bee Leader course?

It is a 6-hour face-to-face course. We aim to give you the confidence to deliver Bee Netball, so the course is fully practical โ€“ you can learn from and with other volunteers guided by one of our expert tutors. You will be equipped with the necessary skills to deliver Bee Netball, as well as understand the curriculum and how to support children.

Who is the course for?

Anyone over 18 can attend the Bee Leader workshops, whether or not you have prior coaching experience. It is a great way to introduce new volunteers to coaching, including parents or players within your club. Experienced coaches can also attend the workshop as the delivery style is very different to traditional coaching practice and the immersive experience will support you to understand how to deliver Bee Netball in the best way possible for children.

Course outcomes

  • To understand the values and ethos of Bee Netball and be able to bring them to life in a session
  • To provide ideas for fun, engaging games and activities
  • To ensure your sessions are fun, safe and inclusive

As part of attending the course you will also be provided with a 10-week coaching guide with all the games and activities your need to deliver an outstanding Bee Netball experience.
