PSSP Trampoline Qualifications – February 2025 

These are FREE for staff in PSSP schools.  If we are not at capacity we will be offering it to other schools at £200 for the Refresher and £350 for the Part 1 per delegate.

Tuesday 25th February 2025 – Trampoline Refresher Course @ Plympton Academy 9.30am-4.30pm

This course will enable you to refresh the practical skills gained during a British Gymnastics Teacher’s Trampoline qualification.

You will revise the importance of creating a safe environment and the code of practice when folding and unfolding the trampoline. You will review the most effective way to support participants in the skills covered during your original qualification.

It is recommended that this course is taken every three years in order to maintain an effective level of coaching and best practice.

You will already hold a British Gymnastics qualification in one of the following, Teachers’ Trampoline Part 1 or Part 2, a Level 2 Trampoline Certificate or British Trampoline Federation qualification. You will also be coaching in a school environment.

The course is aimed at Teachers who hold QTS or a formal teaching qualification, or for individuals working towards this.

Teaching Assistants are not eligible to attend.

Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th February 2025 – Teachers Trampoline Part 1 @ Plympton Academy 9.30am-4.30pm

This course will qualify you to deliver trampoline gymnastics sessions within a school environment.

Trampoline gymnastics is a great way to get participants involved in fun and dynamic coaching sessions.

Through the course you will develop the skills to support a variety of impressive front and back landings, twists and shaped jumps. You will learn about the importance of creating a safe environment and the code of practice when folding and unfolding the trampoline.

You will be a trainee or qualified teacher with an interest in delivering school-based trampoline sessions within a school environment.

The course is aimed at Teachers who hold QTS or a formal teaching qualification, or for individuals working towards this.

Teaching Assistants are not eligible to attend.

Prerequisites - To enrol on this course: You must be 18 years of age. If you do not hold the above prerequisites, but hold another British Gymnastics credential in a different gymnastics discipline, alternative entry routes may exist for this course.

NB – This is a two day course (12 hours) and you must attend both days.

Outdoor learning conference: Places and spaces Training/Conference 

This event will provide you with ideas and tools for making the most of outdoor learning places and spaces on your doorstep and within your area.

The keynote speaker, Mary Jackson, will share her wealth of experience on how schools can make the most of available spaces to enrich children’s learning.

Complimented by a range of workshop leaders, the conference will provide delegates with advice and practical strategies on how schools can both make the most of landscapes close to school and wider afield and help link these spaces to your school curriculum.
