In the academic year 2025-2026, we are delighted to be working with 54 schools with primary-aged children and 15 secondary schools providing all schools with comprehensive opportunities and support to ensure that we provide excellent value for money for an investment of part of the ‘Primary PE & Sports Premium’ that schools receive whilst continuing to address the issues of physical and mental health and wellbeing for the young people in Plymouth.

PE and School Sport are vital elements to a rounded and enriching education that each child deserves and the Plymouth School Sports Partnership (PSSP) ensure that schools are supported to provide this for their students. 

We have a comprehensive Core Offer and Menu of Opportunities that we provide for schools along with our Festival and Competition programme, which ensures that schools get outstanding value for their subscription.

Our half-termly PSSP Reporting letters enable schools to evidence the impact of how their money PE and sport, in line with the conditions of the grant and the key indicators.

Our School Games Events are open to all schools in Plymouth for a £50 fee which will go towards the cost of the venue and equipment.  Non-subscribing schools can book their place by emailing a.clooke@sjhcsc.co.uk with a list of events that you would like to enter.
