Coombe Dean School hosted the PSSP primary basketball competition on Thursday 26th February.  6 schools - Montpelier, Whitleigh, Elburton, Pilgrim, Keyham Barton and Pomphlett - attended and took part in a round robin event.  The standard was high and many baskets were scored.  The teams and games were ably managed by talented sports leaders who warmed the groups up, refereed, kept scores and motivated the children to play their best games.  Well done and thanks to Finlay S, Jack G, Ruben G, Rufus L, Ashraf A, Jack B, Mason O and Reuben C who were all praised highly by visiting school staff.

Well done to everybody for making this an exciting competition.  The winners -   Montpelier -  will return to Coombe Dean on Thursday 5^th March to play in a final against Chaddlewood.  Who will be our 2026 champion?
