Primary Inclusion Boccia 06.05.2022

Friday 06th May 2022 – Another great turn out today for our PSSP Primary Inclusion Boccia event at Plympton Academy. 11 teams came along to take part in our friendly round-robin style event; we had teams from Pomphlett, Victoria Road, Holy Cross, Cann Bridge, Old Priory, Yealmpstone Farm and Plympton St. Mary’s. The best thing about these events is looking around at so many smiling faces while they enjoy practicing new skills and meeting children from other schools. Boccia is a target based sport and we all agreed that practice really does help here: the more we played, the more accurate we became. As always, we had a great team of sports leaders with us from Plympton Academy so thank you to the team of 6th form students who volunteered this morning to run our games for us. Thank you as well to all of the staff who brought their teams along. If you are interested in attending other Boccia events or would like to try some different Inclusion event activities, please visit the PSSP website for more details. I look forward to seeing you at another event soon.
