Pupils from Goosewell and Montpelier Primary schools took part in the PSSP KS1 Gymnastics festival hosted by students from Coombe Dean School and Aspire Gymnastics Club.

The children had the opportunity to try the beams, bars, trampettes and springboards as well as improving floorwork skills. It was great to see the pupils enjoying themselves and working so hard to improve and achieve.  There were some super performances and some of the children who were nominated by the leaders got to show off their best moves to the whole group at the end. Sports leaders spent the morning demonstrating how to perform skills, supporting on the equipment, and motivating the children to be creative and try new moves.  The students were commended by visiting staff for interacting so well with the younger children.  Well done everyone!
