YR5/6 Basketball Festival 02.02.2022

A round robin basketball festival was held at Coombe Dean School on Wednesday 2nd February. The sports hall was filled with keen and eager players from Wembury, Goosewell, Pomphlett, Sherford and Montpelier and the event was supported by 12 Year 10 and 11 Coombe Dean Basketball Leaders.

Each team recorded at least one win and many baskets were scored.  Pupils responded well to the coaching advice and refereeing decisions made by the leaders.  All in all a great morning of team work and basketballing skills!

Results after 5 rounds were as follows:

Goosewell A - 7 points

Wembury - 8 points

Sherford - 8 points

Pomphlett - 9 points

Goosewell B - 13 points

Montpelier - 15 points
