Netball Umpiring for Secondary Staff 08.03.22

Netball Umpiring for PSSP Secondary Staff - Tuesday 8^th March 2022 

This training is for all PSSP secondary school staff who wish to improve their netball umpiring.    

This is not a formal course, more of an opportunity to stay up to date with the latest rules and guidance in a safe space. 

The focus will be to: 

• feel a little more confident umpiring the younger students. What to focus on, what to let slide so the game flows etc. And a bit of a practice under guidance. 
• a refresher, to make sure staff are implementing the correct rules etc. An opportunity to assess their umpiring with supported coaching.  

The timings are: 

• 3.30-4pm - Theory session (classroom) 
• 4-5pm - Practical session with students (Sports Hall) 
• 5-6pm - Theory session (classroom)
