Cann Bridge Level 1 Boccia competition #2

28/04/2021– An exciting morning at Cann Bridge today as three classes came along to take part in a Level 1 Boccia competition. Boccia is a Paralympic sport that is played from a seated position. It is a target game that involves accuracy and strategy and more importantly, is a lot of fun.  First up were class 6 – it was great to see so many smiling faces of children enjoying playing some competitive sport. Our focus was all about the fun and enjoyment of participating today, so we didn’t keep any scores, but we did applaud the winners of each round. Next up were class 5 and then class 4. Boccia is one of those activities where practice really does lead to improvement and that was certainly the case today. The more we played, the more accurate we became. Well done to all who took part this morning, I really hope that you enjoyed playing and competing against your classmates.
