It was a cold afternoon but that didn't stop the keen pupils from Eggbuckland Vale to get outside and compete against other members of their class in a tag rugby competition.
Before Christmas, they have been focusing on tag rugby in their lessons so this was a perfect way to put all their practice to good use and compete against eachother! They were split into 5 teams and played 8 minute games. 5 points were given to the winners of each match, 3 for a draw and 1 for a loss. All their points were added at the end and it was a very close finish!
The children had great fun and were talking and comparing games, tactic and the trys they scored, whilst they got ready to go home after.
Unfortuantely due to the most recent annoucement, the second session with the other class had to be postponed but we will look to re-book it when we can and see which class scored the most points overall.
Well done everyone and thank you EVPS!
