Yealmpstone Farm Level 1 Boccia 10.12.2020

What a brilliant morning I have had at Yealmpstone Farm Primary. This morning, I had the pleasure of working with a group of children from Y1 and then another group from Y2.

After introducing them to the game of Boccia, we got straight into a Level 1 competition. Boccia is a Paralympic sport that is played from a seated position. It is a target game that involves accuracy and strategy and more importantly, is a lot of fun.

All the children picked up the game so quickly and it soon became competitive and exciting. We discussed their fast improvement and decided that practice really does help us to improve.

Everyone who took part today received a certificate and I think I can safely say, had an enjoyable morning of activity. Well done teams, you all played brilliantly. I am looking forward to working with you all again in the New Year.
