Sherford Vale Duathlon L1 Festival 25.11.2020

Pupils from year 4, 5 and 6 were selected to take part in the Sherford Vale Duathlon Level 1 festival today.

3 boys and 3 girls had the chance to try out the running-cycling-running damp, muddy and challengiing course. The sun shone and Years 5 and 6 came out to cheer on their class mates providing much needed encouragement!

Pupils in year 4 completed the 1.8km course whilst those in year 5 and 6 took on the 3.6km course!

There were some fantastics performances:

• Tyler - 16.31
• Logan - 15.35
• William - 15.12

Everyone who took part received a certificate and ther top 3 times in each year group received a medal.

Harry W should get a special mention - not only for achieving the fastest time but also for supporting fellow class mate Harry B.

Also Lily and Layla who at the last minute had to pair up as a team due to a mechanical problem!

All of the children agreed that the course was tough but that they all enjoyed the duathlon experience!  Well done Sherford Vale pupils!
