What a fantastic way to start our Level 1 competitions at Cann Bridge: 16 children took part in some indoor rowing challenges this morning.
First off, we went through some basic technique and then had some time to practice getting use to the machines. Then the challenge was on! Each child taking part was challenged to row 100m as quickly as they could.
All the results were then recorded, and we set our second challenge, which was to beat their own score. It was great to see so many children being physically active and enjoying learning a new activity.
There were some excellent times set and all of the children really impressed us with how hard they tried. Well done to you all – I hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did cheering you on.
