It's good to be back! KS2 Duathlon 13.10.2020

Pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6 at Wembury Primary School took part in the first PSSP Duathlon today.

Duathlon is a run, bike, run event which can take place around a school field or track.

Pupils competed against each other to complete the course in the fastest time.

Year 4 completed the Tristart distance - 1.8km and Years 5 and 6 the tri star 1 course - 3.6km.  Conditions were pretty tough as the persistent rain the day and night before ensured a muddy and slippery terrain which proved a challenge to both run and cycle.

Well done to

Evan, George, Matthew, Indi, Lucy and Emily in Year 4

Angus, Jago, Fin, Harriet, Elle and Margot in Year 5

Devon, Bea, Daisy, Max, Dillon and Oscar in Year 6

Year 4 1st place - Lucy

Year 5 1st place and fastest overall time - Fin

Year 6 1st place - Oscar

Thanks to Claire Cormack for assisting with the set up and running of the event. It was a great morning!
