Devon Virtual Games
This year's Devon Virtual Games Events are being hosted by Active Devon and the School Games Organisers - it is the Devon Summer School Games with a twist!
All competitions are virtual, and you can enter as many of them as you like. The competitions are suitable to do at home, in your backyard or garden or at school. They give you the chance to virtually team up with your classmates, represent your school and compete against other children from across Devon!
The #DevonVirtualGames will run from the 18th May 2020 – 13th July 2020 with six different events for you to enter. Individuals will be able to submit their entries via an online link. The last additional event will be a set of family-based challenges which will run throughout the summer holidays. Every Monday at 10am throughout June we will post a new competition for you to get involved in. Each competition will be open for a limited amount of time.

There will be medals, certificates, and prize categories for each event. All entries will also be included into a prize draw for the chance to win some great prizes, plus the school with the highest percentage of their pupils taking part will also win a prize, so make sure you tell your friends from school to get involved too!

Terms and Conditions:
1) The competition organiser is Active Devon and the School Games Organiser.
2) The competition is open to any child (aged between 5 and 16) who is a resident of, or attends school in, Devon.
3) The entry process will be done via an online link and any photos or videos should be shared with us via https://wetransfer.com/ using [email protected]. Please include the participants first name and school in the message to enable us to match any photos or videos with the media consent in the online entry form.
4) The closing date of each event will be publicised. No entries will be considered after these closing dates.
5) The parent/guardian is aware of the nature of the challenge and takes responsibility for ensuring a safe area for the challenge to take place. This involves, but is not limited to, the surface, the equipment, and the surrounding areas.
6) Active Devon and the Devon School Games Organisers will judge all entries and their decision will be final. No appeals process will be in place.
7) Individuals will receive a medal, a certificate or both and will be automatically included in a prize draw plus, the school with the highest percentage of pupils entering will also win a prize.
8) The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.
9) Active Devon reserve the right to terminate the competition if circumstances arise that are out of our control.
10) By entering this competition, the parent/guardian is agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions.
11) If the media/privacy consent form has been accepted as part of the sign-up stage, we will not conduct any further checks before publishing photos and or videos. You can withdraw media consent at any time by contacting
