Primary Inclusion Boccia 11.02.2019

Another fantastic turn out this afternoon for our PSSP Primary Inclusion Boccia event at Plympton Academy.

Running the show this afternoon were 6 talented Sports Leaders from Old Priory Junior Academy. Having completed some training with me last week, the Leaders were on hand today to introduce the teams to the game of Boccia and lead/score all of the games.

We had teams from Lipson Vale, Salisbury Road, Woodfield, St. Peter’s CofE, Dunstone, Thornbury, St. Budeaux Foundation and Cann Bridge, all come along to take part in our relaxed competition. No experience is necessary for these events, teams are invited along for the session to learn a new sport and just enjoying playing against as many other teams as possible.

It is great to look around the sports hall and see so many children enjoying playing sport with their friends and meeting new people. Hopefully you all enjoyed it so much that you would be keen to come back again!

I would like to say a huge thank you to the Old Priory Sports Leaders; you did a fantastic job today and really made this event a huge success. Thank you as well to all of the staff for bringing their teams along, I hope you enjoyed the event as well.
