Primary Inclusion Boccia 05.02.2020

A fantastic turn out this afternoon at Tor Bridge High for another PSSP Primary Inclusion Boccia event.

Teams from Laira Green, Old Priory, Montpelier, St. Matthews, Holy Cross, Cann Bridge, Drake and St. Budeaux all came along to take part in our friendly competition and have a go at trying a new sport. No experience is necessary for these events as we have a great team of young leaders from Tor Bridge High on hand to show all the teams how to play and lead the games. Once everyone has settled in and got the hang of it, we squeeze as many games in as possible so that each team can play against as many other schools as possible.

Talking to the children today, we all realised just how important practice can be when trying something new: everyone agreed that we definitely get better the more we try and believe that we can. This event is really about having fun playing sport and meeting new people and, looking around at the smiling faces in the hall, I think that was the case today.

I would like to say a huge thank you to our young leaders for their excellent support and also to Mrs Pearce (Montpelier) and Mrs Phillips (Drake) for their support today.

Well done to the 2 aspiring young leaders from Drake Primary as well who had a go at leading their own games today. I hope you all enjoyed this event as much as I did and I look forward to seeing you at the next PSSP Inclusion event.
