Young Netball Organiser Award 11.12.19

On the 11th December 2019, 37 students from 4 partnership secondary schools attended the England Netball Young Netball Organiser Award.

The Netball Young Organiser Award is aimed at talented and gifted leaders who continually show high quality leadership skills and who are ready to take their first step into coaching, officiating or administration of netball.

The aim of the five-hour award is to offer the participants their first step into coaching, officiating and event organising.

By the end of the award all students could plan, organise and run an appropriate, purposeful, enjoyable and safe netball session and all students were able to confidently officiate and score games of netball.

The award participants will now go on to officiate at the School Games Level 2 Plymouth Netball Event being held at Marjon at the start of the new year.
