Primary Inclusion Boccia 04.12.2019

A great afternoon of Inclusion Boccia at Tor Bridge High today. 8 teams from PSSP schools came along to take part in our friendly Boccia event aimed at children of all abilities and experience.

Today we had representatives from Elburton, Pomphlett, Cann Bridge, St. Paul’s, Oreston and Prince Rock.

On arrival the children were greeted by our fantastic team of Young Leaders – Cory, Jamie-Leigh, Daisy and Bella.

Some of the players today had never played before, so they were given some instruction by the leaders and then it was straight into some games. This friendly competition is an opportunity for all of the schools to meet new people and have some fun playing Boccia. We also use this event as an opportunity to celebrate the School Games value of Determination: we spoke about the importance of practicing and everyone agreed that the more they played, the better they were becoming.

I would like to say a huge thank you to our leaders, who once again helped to make this event so enjoyable for everyone. I hope that you all enjoyed the event today and I look forward to seeing you all at another Inclusion event very soon.
