Revised Report Template - PE & Sport Premium

REVISED REPORTING TEMPLATE FOR PRIMARY PE & SPORT PREMIUM 2019-20

We have learnt today that the reporting template was revised and published last week.  The new template is now aligned to the new Ofsted framework and provides more guidance on what should be evidenced against the headers; intent, implementation and impact

It’s recommended that the template is used to record your activity throughout the year, as well as for publication at the end of the school year.  You must publish on your school website, details of how you spend your PE and sport premium funding by the end of the summer term or by 31 July 2020 at the latest.

We understand the timing of this revision may cause some frustration as you may have already completed your report for this academic year, but we have compared the templates and it should be a fairly simple process to transfer the information across to the revised one.

At our PE Conference in September, the Keynote Speaker Neil Swait (Ofsted Inspector) advised that whilst this is not a compulsory template, by using the one commissioned by the Department for Education you are demonstrating that your school is aware of the most up to date reporting requirements and alignment with the new Ofsted framework.

The revised template can be found on the Youth Sport Trust or AfPE websites;  https://www.youthsporttrust.org/PE-sport-premium or http://www.afpe.org.uk/physical-education/evidencing-the-impact-guidance-template/
