Level 2 Inclusion Games 21.11.19

On Wednesday the 21st of November we hosted the Level 2 Inclusion Games at Eggbuckland Community College.

This year was a little bit different as the qualifiers would be formed from teams who scored the highest numner of points within their group. We had 20 teams attend the event, each team having a go at New Age Kurling and seated volleyball. For some children this was their first time at these sports.

There was some fantastic skill on show throughout the morning and even more importantly amazing sportsmanship by all teams, there was a lot of shaking hands and encouragment shown by all.

Once all of the scores were added up we finished the day with a presentation where the qualifiers to the Level 3 (Devon wide) event were announced. We also presented medals to children who showed great sportsmanship throughout the event.

Well done to everyone taking part and a special congratulations to the following teams for qualifying;

Seated Volleyball

  • Austin Farm Antelopes
  • Whitleigh Wasps
  • Widey Court Wombats
  • Whitleigh Walruses

New Age Kurling

  • Victoria Road Vultures
  • Bickleigh Down Bees
  • Beechwood Bears
  • St. Edward's Stallions

Finally, a big thank you to Eggbuckland Community College for providing their Young Leaders and facilities for the event!
