Stoke Damerel Indoor Athletics 13.11.19

Our next athletics heat was the Stoke Damerel Heats and was held at the Plymouth Life Centre.  We had 6 teams attend the event; Drake, Montpelier Greens, Montpelier Whites, Stuart Road, Pennycross and Morice Town.

As always the girls were up first on the track competing in the 1+1 lap relay and the 6 lap Paarlauf setting some very quick times. Meanwhile the boys were starting their field events, competing in the standing long jump and the standing triple jump trying to gain some vital points for their teams.

Next up it was the boys turn to take to the track whilst the girls got started on their field events, all scores were very close and it was starting to turn into a very competitive event.

Final race was everyones favourite the obstacle race, the noise started to pick up and every participant was cheering on there schools.

A massive well done to all participants who competed in this event, you all showed incredible effort.

Congratulations to our gold medal winners Montpelier Greens with a massive score of 204 points!
