Tor Bridge Family Y3/4 Football 19.09.2019

Today was our annual Tor Bridge Family Y3/4 Football festival at Tor Bridge High.

4 teams came along this afternoon: 2 teams from Bickleigh Down, Leigham and Widewell. It became apparent very early on what quality players we have in our schools—some of the games were incredibly close and there was some excellent Football being played.

In this event, each win is awarded 5 points, a draw is 3 and a loss is 1 point. At the end of the afternoon, all of the results were collated and the final standings announced; Congratulations to Bickleigh ‘A’ who were our overall winners today having won all of their games! Congratulations as well to Leigham who were very close in second place. Full table of results below.

Well done to all of the teams that took part today—you all played incredibly well and should be really proud of your team work. I would like to say a huge thank you to Cory, Jamie-Leigh, Amy and Mollie for their excellent refereeing. Thank you as well to all of the staff who brought their teams along—I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I am already looking forward to our next family event, coming up very soon.
