Year 5/6 Quadkids

Quadkids this year brought a windy but dry afternoon to get our first outdoor Athletics event off to a start.

Each athlete got to compete in four events, two track and two field. They each did on rotation a 75m sprint, 600m run, vortex and standing long jump.

There were some very close races and scores between everyone and it was lovely to see so many children getting involved, despite the cold.

A huge thank you to all the staff for bringing each competitor, the leaders from Stoke Damerel for all thier support but most importantly a big thank you and well done to each competitor yesterday. You all did incredibly well.

Well done to our top four placed schools that will advance to the level 3 Quadkids at the Devon Summer School Games on the 19th June in Exeter.
