Tor Bridge Family KS2 Athletics Staff CPD

It was a fantastic turn out this afternoon for the Tor Bridge Family KS2 Athletics Staff CPD at Tor Bridge High.

30 teachers from different schools across the PSSP came along to extend their knowledge and acquire new skills and resources to deliver athletics in their schools. We were incredibly fortunate to have the Tor Bridge High School Head of PE, Scott Williams, on hand to deliver the session.

Scott started the session with an introduction to skills through warm up activities, from there he covered sprinting, relays, hurdles and a variety of throwing events. There were elements of practical throughout the session and it was great to see how keen everyone was to have a go and practice the techniques in each discipline.

I think that I can speak for all who attended when I say that it was a fantastic session, packed full of tips and ideas; thank you Scott.
