Primary Inclusive Boccia 06.03.2019

A great afternoon of Boccia today hosted by Young Leaders from Marine Academy.

2 teams from St. Budeaux Foundation and 3 teams from Marine Academy Primary came along to take part in our friendly competition. No experience is necessary for these events as the Young Leaders do an excellent job of explaining the game/rules and leading the competition. After everyone has had a practice we shuffle the teams around so that we can play as many teams as possible in the hour.

As well as an opportunity to learn a new sport, these events are about meeting children from other schools and celebrating some School Games Values such as team work, Respect and Self Belief.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the Young Leaders – you were fantastic with the children today and really made the event enjoyable for them.

Thank you to Mr. Clift for organising such a great team and to the primary staff for bringing their children along today. I hope you all enjoyed the event as much as I did and I hope to see you at another PSSP Boccia event very soon.
