Jump & Rebound Festival Coombe Dean 12.02.19

42 Year 3 and 4 pupils from Oreston, Elburton, Montpelier, Wembury, Pomphlett, Goosewell and Dunstone took part in the first PSSP Jump and Rebound Festival at Coombe Dean School.

After an extensive warm up and activities to ensure the children were able to take off and land safely, we moved onto a rotation of 4 stations where dynamic jumping was the name of the game.

Using the airtrack, springboards, and trampettes to gain height and distance the children were able to jump and rebound across the equipment to land safely on the crash mats.

Well done to all of the children for working so hard all morning - I am sure there will be some sore muscles in the next day or two!

Thanks to Coombe Dean Leaders from Years 7, 9, 10 and 13 - who are all members of the Coombe Dean Aspire Gym Club and to Aimee and Abi the gym coaches who organised a great experience for our primary schools to participate in.
