Primary Inclusive Boccia 05.02.2019

A great morning of sport today at Plympton Academy as we hosted a PSSP Inclusive Boccia event.

We had 9 teams in total today from Chaddlewood, Yealmpstone Farm, Old Priory, Dunstone, Leigham and St. Budeaux Foundation.

No experience is necessary for these events as we had Young Leaders from Plympton Academy on hand to show the teams how to play and keep the scores. Then we just play a friendly round-robin event and fit in as many games as possible in the time we have.

These events are also about more than just playing some Boccia – we celebrate the School Games Value of Respect by congratulating other teams and each other and respecting our referees.

It was another great event today – lots of games and lots of smiles all round. Thank you to all of the staff for bringing their children along and for helping me to get set up and started in record time – I hope you all enjoyed the event as much as I did.

Thank you as well to the Young Leaders for all their hard work – you did a great job!
