PSSP High 5 Netball Final

Throughout the week, we held three netball heats that the winners of each group went through to today’s final. The top 6 teams were Compton, Drake, Goosewell, Leigham, Bickleigh Down A and Bickleigh Down B. Across the whole day, a lot of people noticed how good the standard of netball was. So well done to all competitors!

The teams played incredibly in all their matches, with some high scores being won once again. After each game, 5 points would be given for every match won, 3 for a draw and 1 for a loss.

As it was the final round of heats, the top four teams will qualify for the Devon Winter School Games in March at Torbay. It was a very intense morning with some amazing goals being scored. Going into the last game both Drake and Compton were level on points in 1stposition.

Congratulations to our Winners Drake Primary who finished with a massive 21 points, Compton came second with 21 points but 6 goals behind 1st. In third was Leigham who finished with 17 points and in 4thwas Bickleigh Down A who also had 17 points but were 3 goals behind 3rd. We will see you all at the DWSG, all details will be sent out shortly.
