U15 Boys Cricket 2019

On Thursday 10thJanuary the partnership hosted the level 2 under 15 boys cricket competition at Plymstock School. There were 4 teams that were Devonport High School for boys, Plymstock, Stoke Damerel and St.Boniface.

The teams played in a round robin format with 8 overs per team. There were some very close scores and good cricket on show. The players who placed their shots well were achieving good runs and points for their teams.

After the end of the round robin games, there was a tie which meant teams would play each other again but in shorter 4 over matches. It came down to the last couple of bowls before eventually after nearly 5 hours of cricket Plymstock were crowned champions.

The results were as follows:

1st– Plymstock

2nd- Stoke Damerel

3rd- Devonport High School for Boys

4th- St.Boniface

Massive well done to everyone, with a special congratulations to Plymstock for qualifying for the level 3 event later this month.
