Primary Inclusive Boccia 13.12.2018

Our Christmas Inclusion Boccia event this afternoon at Tor Bridge High. 9 teams from schools in the PSSP – Beechwood, Tor Bridge Primary, Weston Mill, Cann Bridge, Plympton St. Maurice, Marine Academy and Lipson Vale all came along to take part in our friendly Boccia competition.

On arrival, all teams were met by some of our Young Leaders from Tor Bridge High, who were with us to teach the children how to play and lead the games.

No experience is necessary for these events – just turn up, we will show you the ropes and then we play against as many different teams as we can fit in during the time!

As it was our Christmas event today, we had some very nice jumpers and even some Santa hats on display.  These events are also about more than just playing some Boccia – we celebrate the School Games Value of Respect by congratulating other teams and each other and respecting our referees.

It was another great event today – lots of games and lots of smiles all round. Thank you to all of the staff for bringing their children along – I hope you all enjoyed the event as much as I did. Thank you as well to the Young Leaders for all their hard work – you did a great job!
